Current Submission Opportunity

We are currently reviewing portfolios of oil Painters working in Landscape. All submissions are through general mail delivery ONLY. Please do not email links to your artwork. The review requirements are listed below and support materials should be sent to the Gallery mailing address, attn: ARTIST SUBMISSION. Please remember to include a self-addressed stamped envelope for the return of your materials. The gallery is not responsible for any work mailed with out return postage.

Review Requirements

For best results, follow these instructions carefully. We are interested in artists who paint professionally, who are steady performers, who can meet deadlines with high-quality work, and who continually seek to improve. Send your materials to the Gallery and allow us 60 - 90 days to respond, no phone calls please.

·          Painters must submit 10 to 20 slides of works completed within the last two years. Slides must be marked with title, measurements, medium, date of completion and the artist's net price (this is the price to you, not retail.)

·          You may also submit work on CD. If you submit your portfolio on CD please follow these instructions carefully: Please send images on CD-R format only. Images should be at least 300 dpi, 480 x 640 Pixels (5” x 7”), no larger than 20 MB. DO NOT send files larger than 20 MB we will not open them. Each digital file must be labeled with title, measurements, medium, and date of completion.

·          You may also submit 10 to 20 photographic prints of your work. No larger than 8 x 10. Please be sure to label each print with your name, title, measurements, medium and date of completion.

·          Please include an up-to-date resume and support materials (press, publications etc.). Your presentation should also include a brief statement about the direction you see your work going, and a description of your working/studio habits, where you found information about submitting to Whitney Gallery and why you believe your artwork would be a good edition to our gallery.
