Corinne Adams
is an Atlanta – based artists who works in fine art
photography and mixed media. Adams studied at the
Atlanta College of Art and has taught photographic
technique in the Atlanta and surrounding areas. Her
work creates intimate visual spaces that evoke a
sense of mystery and dreams. The compositions in
Adams’ photographs have a seductive tonal quality
that creates the feeling of being on the threshold
of a memory where the audience is the voyeur into
her world. Adams references the works of Harry
Callahan, Joseph Cornell and Mike and Doug Starn
with her contemporary use of materials and classic
subject matter.
Adams has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in
galleries and public art spaces such as The Ordover
Gallery in Sandiego, CA, The Atrium Gallery at
Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and
the Toulouse Gallery in Atlanta, GA. She is
co-founder of Atlanta Celebrates Photography, the
city’s annual photography festival. Adams is
represented bi-coastally in California and Georgia.
