Awareness is an inconsistent effort that is even at times accidental. Involvement in the world is minimal, a witness of our lives and self-importance. It is easy for us to choose to ignore needs so we may focus on wants. We are convinced by visual and sensual truth that we are doing right; unfortunately we are only occasionally truthful with ourselves.

We see the world with blinders, the way that we want to see it; translated through our lives. We become the passenger in our own circular logic that has no end or beginning. We are obsessed by what we are and what we are not to the point where no consideration of an alternative is ever needed. Truth and facts are victims to ignorance, easy answers and indifference.

The mundane objects within the works have become the metaphors for these ideas and more; they are the relationship between surfacing issues and ourselves. They are the objects that have surrounded our lives of convenience and consumption. Whether the connection is realized or ignored does not detach the related dependents.
